‍ROFL Mainnet: Official Launch‍

The Oasis Protocol Foundation is excited to announce Runtime Offchain Logic (ROFL) mainnet is now officially live

Most of today's dApps face similar constraints: blockchain performance limitations, privacy concerns, and a lack of real-world connectivity. After more than a year of development, ROFL is set for primetime and positioned to solve this, enabling applications to run offchain while maintaining privacy and verifiability through trusted execution environments (TEEs).

ROFL generalizes crypto's core value prop by enabling intensive, confidential computation without compromising trust. Developers can execute heavy operations offchain within secure enclaves, cryptographically verify the results, and integrate them with onchain smart contracts—thus opening an entirely new design space for applications.

In practice, ROFL features tamper-proof processing, verifiable execution, a decentralized key management solution, and direct access to confidential virtual machines. Instead of relying on opaque third-party infrastructure, builders can now deploy private workloads using the Oasis CLI or templates on the freshly launched rofl.app. Deploy trading agents, private LLM bots, social personas or other sensitive logic with the power of Oasis TEEs.

From oracles and light clients to games and interop solutions, anything written in software can leverage ROFL, though it's especially powerful for AI applications. For example, the first live projects on the platform are AI-driven with high trust requirements. One is an autonomous trading agent, WT3, another is a privacy-first AI companion developed by Zeph. And the pipeline is just getting started.

Ultimately, ROFL functions as a decentralized TEE cloud, combining onchain verification and privacy protections with uncapped computational power. Rofl.app makes deploying to this cloud easy. Together, they’re making it possible to break blockchain's performance ceiling and solve two critical problems: crypto's limited application layer and AI's trust problem.
